The Artist
I am a mostly self taught artist, with the exception of a few high school courses
and college electives. The vast majority of my formal training is in landscape
design and is of a more graphical nature.
My grandfather was an artist and I credit him for my interest and for my choices
of subjects. He taught me to paint when I was a child and I can remember sitting
on the porch watching him paint mostly squirrels, chipmunks, birds and whatever
was running around, and of course .. my grandmother.
